No. SIMERP is a premium health benefit additive that compliments your current insurance plan. It does not replace your current plan

Who Qualifies for SIMERP

All employers that have:

1. 25 or more (no max limit) full-time employees (30 + hours weekly)

2. Currently provides health insurance

3. Deducts and Pays  into FICA

What are the Benefits to the employer?

  • Reduction in FICA tax liability
  • Reduction in medical cost - when employees use their SIMERP benefits there are no claims to pay for.
  • Employers receive $639.96 per employee annually which is credited to the employer monthly at a rate of $53.33 per enrolled employee monthly.
